Whenever you use this website, a variety of personal information will be collected. Personal data are information that can be used to identify you as a person. This Data Protection Information aims to explain which data we collect and the ways we use the information for. It also explains the purpose of obtaining and using your information.
If you submit inquiries to us via our contact form, the information you have entered into the contact form will be stored at our end so that we can process your inquiry and contact you if we have subsequent questions. We will not share this information in the absence of your consent. Hence, the processing of data entered into the contact form occurs exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR). You may revoke such consent at any time. To do so, it is sufficient to submit an informal e-mail to us. This will not affect the legality of any data processing transactions that occurred until the time of revocation. If the reason you contacted us was related to or aiming at the execution of a contract, Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. b GDPR shall provide additional grounds for the legitimacy of our handling of such data. The data you have entered into the contact form shall remain with us until you demand that we eradicate it, revoke your consent to the storage of such data or the purpose of storing the data no longer exists (e.g. once your inquiry has been handled). This shall be without prejudice to any mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods.
Through our newsletter, we will keep you up-to-date on our news and our offers. If you would like to subscribe to our newsletter, we will need a valid e-mail address as well as your first and last name, so that we can customize the newsletter for you.
The personal data we collect in conjunction with your registration for our newsletter will be used exclusively to send out our newsletter. The sending of the newsletter and the affiliated success verification will be performed on the basis of your consent (Art 6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR in combination with § 7 Sect. 2 No. 3 UWG).
We use a verification process called the double-opt-in process for the registration for our newsletter. After you have registered, you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your subscription. This confirmation aims at verifying whether the holder of the e-mail address is also authorized to receive the newsletter.
When you register for our newsletter, we also store your IP address and the date you registered along with the date the confirmation notice was returned to us. The log of the registration process is compiled based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR) of providing a user friend newsletter system that is secure and to document the declarations of consent we have received. The storage period for such data will be limited to the purpose of defending against any claims that may arise.
The newsletter will be sent through a distribution service. We commission a distribution service on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR and on the basis of a contract processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 Sect. 3 S. 1 GDPR.
You may revoke your consent to the storage of data, your e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. You may exercise your right to revoke by using the link provided directly in the newsletter, in your profile area or by sending a notice to the above contact information.
